I'm a photographer and creative director based in Waynesboro, Virginia, and I've spent the better part of my career helping people and brands look their best.

Mortimer Studios is where that work lives. From professional headshots and event coverage to landscape and fine art photography, I bring the same eye to every shoot: deliberate, detail-oriented, and focused on images that actually do something for the person in them.

My background in graphic design spans over 20 years working with clients from startups to Fortune 500 companies, and it shapes how I think about every frame. Good photography and good design ask the same question: does this communicate what it needs to? That instinct follows me from the camera to the edit.

When I'm not shooting, I'm usually chasing a sunrise somewhere in the Shenandoah Valley with my wife, a backpack, and entirely too much camera gear.
